യാക്കോബായ സഭ പള്ളികൾ കൈമാറണം: സുപ്രിംകോടതി
ന്യൂഡൽഹി : എറണാകുളം, പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലകളിലായുള്ള ആറ് പള്ളികളുടെ ഭരണം ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് സഭക്ക് കൈമാറണം എന്ന് യാക്കോബായ സഭയോട് സുപ്രിംകോടതി നിർദേശിച്ചു. ഓർത്തഡോക്സ്-യാക്കോബായ പള്ളിത്തർക്കത്തിൽ സുപ്രിംകോടതിയുടെ സുപ്രധാന ഇടപെടലാണിത്. അതേസമയം പള്ളികളിലെ സെമിത്തേരി, സ്‌കൂളുകൾ എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പടെയുള്ള പൊതുസംവിധാനങ്ങളിൽ ഒരുവിഭാഗത്തിൽ പെട്ടവരെയും വിലക്കരുതെന്ന് കോടതി ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്‌സ് സഭയ്ക്ക് നിർദേശംനൽകി. മലങ്കര സഭയ്ക്കു കീഴിലുള്ള പള്ളികൾ 1934–ലെ ഭരണഘടന അനുസരിച്ചു വേണം ഭരണം നടത്തേണ്ടതെന്ന 2017-ലെ സുപ്രീംകോടതി വിധിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് നിർദേശം നൽകുന്നതെന്ന് ജസ്റ്റിസുമാരായ സൂര്യകാന്ത്, ഉജ്ജ്വൽ ഭുയാൻ […]
